Aligned (ALIGN) - Ethereum's One-Click Financial Backend Stack

Every Fintech Rebuilds the Same Plumbing Before It Ships a Single Product#

Less than one percent of the world’s assets currently sit onchain, and most of what has moved lives on Ethereum as stablecoins, tokenized treasuries, and wrapped assets. Yet a fintech that decides to go onchain still faces the same grind every time: sign one vendor for wallets, another for rollups, another for proving systems, then spend months wiring them together and keeping them in sync as each one ships breaking changes. There is no standard way to launch a financial product on Ethereum. The infrastructure exists, but it arrives in pieces, and assembling those pieces is where budgets and timelines go to die.

What If Launching on Ethereum Felt Like Deploying a Web App?#

Aligned collapses that entire vendor stack into a single integration. Wallets, rollups, interoperability, and zero-knowledge services all come from one engineering team, one codebase, one relationship. Users sign in with Google and get a real Ethereum wallet with no seed phrase and no browser extension. Teams deploy their own zk-rollup in a single click, secured by Ethereum from block one. The proofs those rollups generate get aggregated and verified on Ethereum automatically, on by default. ALIGN is the native asset of that stack, and this guide walks through what the project actually does, who is building it, and how to buy the token.

What does Aligned do?#

🔐 Wallet as a Service: Aligned gives partner applications a wallet layer where users authenticate with Google and immediately receive a real Ethereum wallet. No seed phrases to write down, no browser extension to install, no gas fees to explain. Signing happens through Face ID or Touch ID, and the wallet works across every device the user owns. The stack is built on EIP-7702 and RIP-7212, so these are genuine Ethereum accounts rather than custodial shortcuts. The MVP is already running in production.

🚀 Rollup as a Service: Spinning up a dedicated chain today usually means an infrastructure team and months of work. Aligned reduces it to a single click. Teams deploy their own zk-rollup powered by Ethrex, the high-performance Rust execution client from LambdaClass, and it settles on Ethereum from the first block. That gives a neobank, a payments processor, or a lending protocol its own blockspace with no gas wars against unrelated applications.

📦 Proof Aggregation Service: This is the piece that keeps the economics working at scale. Every proof a rollup generates gets recursively batched into a single proof, which is then verified on Ethereum once instead of hundreds of times. Verifying proofs one at a time is traffic; aggregation is the overpass. The service runs on Ethereum mainnet alpha today and is integrated into Ethrex by default, meaning rollups built on Aligned get it without extra configuration.

⚙️ LambdaVM: Aligned’s RISC-V zkVM, built in collaboration with LambdaClass and 3MI Labs. RISC-V is one of the instruction set architectures Ethereum itself is evaluating for its long-term roadmap, and on the Ethereum Foundation’s zkEVM track LambdaVM passed all 72 RISC-V ISA compliance tests, the first zkVM to clear the full set. It uses STARK-based proving, which makes its security assumptions post-quantum in nature rather than dependent on elliptic curve hardness.

🌉 Interoperability Protocol: One shared bridge connecting every chain in the Aligned ecosystem, so value moves natively between them instead of fragmenting across wrapped assets and third-party bridges. A worker sending stablecoins home, a saver earning yield through a neobank, a trader chasing the best rate: none of them should have to leave the application to do it. All transfers stay secured by Ethereum.

💳 Financial Product Templates: The stack is deliberately shaped around specific end products rather than abstract infrastructure. Remittances where users send USDC across borders and cash out in local currency. Real world assets where revenue streams and debt instruments get tokenized with onchain settlement. Digital identity where a user proves they are over eighteen without revealing a passport. Neobanks with smart contract wallets, scheduled payments, and crypto UX that stays invisible to the customer.

🪙 ALIGN Token Utility: ALIGN is the payment asset across that stack. Applications and rollups pay fees in ALIGN to have proofs aggregated and verified on Ethereum through the Proof Aggregation Service. It is also designated as the primary settlement medium for Rollup as a Service and Wallet as a Service infrastructure and API usage, and it will be required for cross-chain proof verification and bridge validation once the Interoperability Protocol ships. Developers building through the Aligned SDK receive ALIGN grants and performance-based rewards.

Why This Team Inspires Confidence#

Institutional Backing: Aligned raised approximately $22.6M across two rounds. The seed round of about $2.6M was led by Lemniscap with Bankless Ventures participating, followed by a $20M Series A led by Hack VC with participation from dao5, L2 Iterative Ventures, Nomad Capital, Finality Capital, Symbolic Capital, Theta Blockchain Ventures, J17 Capital, Everest Ventures Group, Decima, GM Ventures, and Protagonist. That is a roster of funds that specialize in infrastructure rather than momentum plays.

Shipped Before Token: The Proof Verification Layer launched on Ethereum mainnet beta in November 2024 and processed more than 136,000 proofs across over 50 independent operators before the team retired it in favour of the more efficient aggregation approach. The Proof Aggregation Service is running on mainnet alpha now. Wallet as a Service reached MVP. The token launched roughly two years after the first working product, not before it.

Real Production Partners: Sovra uses Aligned’s Wallet as a Service for SovraWallet and its Rollup as a Service for SovraChain, putting official government documents in the hands of millions of citizens across Latin America. Loom Finance, working with a fintech managing over €1B, uses the stack to tokenize revenue streams and debt instruments. These are deployed systems serving real users, not testnet demonstrations.

Ethereum Core Credentials: The engineering team are core contributors to Starknet, zkSync, and Polygon Miden, and they build Ethrex, one of the fastest Ethereum execution clients available. LambdaClass also found and responsibly disclosed a critical exploit in Succinct’s SP1 zkVM. This is a group with standing inside Ethereum’s core development community rather than a team arriving from outside it.

Verifiable Technical Milestones: LambdaVM became the first zkVM to pass all 72 RISC-V ISA compliance tests on the Ethereum Foundation’s zkEVM track. RISC-V is among the architectures Ethereum is evaluating for its own future, which places Aligned’s proving work directly on the path the base layer itself is exploring.

Disciplined Token Distribution: Team and investor allocations, together representing 43.21 percent of total supply, unlock zero tokens at launch and remain fully locked for a full twelve months, after which 40 percent releases and the remainder vests linearly over 18 months. Insiders are held to the same terms and cannot exit alongside early buyers.

Peer Recognized Airdrop Design: The distinguished contributors portion of the airdrop allocated tokens to Protocol Guild, which funds Ethereum core developers, along with L2BEAT, ZachXBT, and the ZK Podcast. Choosing to reward public goods maintainers and independent onchain investigators signals where the team believes long-term value in the ecosystem actually comes from.

What to Know Before You Buy Aligned#

  1. Working Infrastructure, Not a Roadmap

Two of the five products in the Aligned stack are already in production. The Proof Aggregation Service runs on Ethereum mainnet alpha and Wallet as a Service has reached MVP with partners onboarding real users. The retired Proof Verification Layer verified over 136,000 proofs with more than 50 operators during its run. Buyers are looking at a project with a shipping record behind it.

  1. Direct Fee Capture Across Five Products

ALIGN is designated as the payment asset for proof aggregation, Rollup as a Service, Wallet as a Service, and cross-chain bridge verification. As more fintechs and institutions build on the stack, ALIGN is the asset they use to pay for that usage, tying token demand to actual infrastructure consumption rather than to speculation alone.

  1. A Genuinely Large Addressable Market

Aligned is aimed at fintechs, neobanks, remittance providers, and institutions rather than at crypto-native traders. With under one percent of global assets currently onchain, the room for expansion is defined by the traditional financial system rather than by existing crypto market share.

  1. Long Insider Lockups

Team and investor tokens, which together account for 43.21 percent of supply, release nothing at launch and stay locked for a full year. That structure removes the largest source of early sell pressure and keeps the people building the protocol economically aligned with holders through the first year of operation.

  1. A Fixed and Transparent Supply

Total supply is permanently capped at 10 billion ALIGN with no inflation mechanism. The complete distribution across team, investors, ecosystem, future provisions, foundation, airdrop, and community sales is published openly, along with month-by-month vesting schedules for every category.

  1. Deep Ethereum Alignment

The entire thesis rests on Ethereum becoming the world’s financial backend, and the team builds infrastructure Ethereum itself depends on, including the Ethrex execution client. LambdaVM’s RISC-V compliance work sits on a track the Ethereum Foundation is actively exploring. Growth in Ethereum adoption flows naturally toward the tools that make building on it easier.

  1. Broad Exchange Availability From Day One

ALIGN launched with simultaneous support across a wide set of major exchanges, giving the token immediate liquidity and accessibility rather than leaving it confined to a single exchange or a thin decentralized market.

  1. Multi-Chain Deployment

ALIGN exists on both Ethereum and Base, with officially published contract addresses for each. That gives holders a choice between Ethereum mainnet settlement and the lower transaction costs of Base without needing a third-party bridge.

How to buy Aligned?#

Aligned can be purchased directly on Binance through the Binance Alpha section. Binance is the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the world by trading volume, serving well over 200 million users across more than 180 countries, and Binance Alpha is its dedicated discovery area for early-stage tokens built into Binance Wallet and the main exchange. Because Alpha is integrated into the platform you already use, buying ALIGN there requires no separate wallet setup and no bridging, and the Quick Buy flow includes automatic slippage adjustment and anti-MEV protection for larger orders.

ALIGN is also listed on MEXC, where it trades against USDT. If you prefer to buy there, it helps to have some USDT sitting ready in your MEXC account before you place the order, since that is the pair the market runs on. MEXC is known for listing new tokens early and for maintaining low trading fees, which makes it a comfortable entry point for tokens that have only recently launched.

If you would rather buy on-chain, GMGN supports ALIGN on both Ethereum and Base. For the Ethereum version, move your ETH from a central exchange like Binance into your GMGN Ethereum wallet and swap it for Aligned. For the Base version, move your ETH into your GMGN Base wallet instead and swap it there, since Base uses ETH for gas as well.

GMGN is built for traders who want speed and clarity when working directly on-chain. It surfaces live holder data, liquidity depth, and wallet-level activity right alongside the swap interface, so you can evaluate a token and execute in the same place. Its routing engine is tuned for fast confirmation and tight pricing, and because you hold your own assets throughout, you keep full custody of your ALIGN from the moment the swap settles.
